Sheffield station is on Sheaf Street, a short walk from the centre. National Rail lists East Midlands Railway as the station manager. There are direct trains to London, Manchester and other cities. ¹

Supertram

Supertram runs four routes with 51 stops across Sheffield and Rotherham, with 1, 7 and 28 day tickets and park and ride sites. ³

The station, the Winter Garden, the Peace Gardens and Tudor Square are all within a short walk, though the centre is hilly.

Supertram

Trams cross the centre and run out to Hillsborough, Meadowhall and, as tram-trains, to Rotherham. Day tickets are sold for 1, 7 and 28 days. ³

The Five Weirs Walk follows the River Don for about 5 miles from Lady's Bridge in the centre, over the Cobweb Bridge beneath the Wicker Arches, to Meadowhall.
