Royal Albert Dock 于 1846 年开放，是英国第一座不使用结构木材、完全由铸铁、砖和石建成的建筑。如今其仓库中设有 Merseyside Maritime Museum、International Slavery Museum、Tate Liverpool 和 The Beatles Story，船坞水池周围还有咖啡馆和餐厅。
