Each themed trip follows one interest across Britain: 9 themes and 63 stops in all, drawn from our guides to Bath, Cambridge, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Oxford, The Cotswolds, York, plus a few places outside them that we checked against their own websites. Every theme has a map, a short note on each stop and a heart to save it to My trip. They are not timed routes: pick the stops near where you are staying, or combine a theme with one of our day-by-day itineraries.

Across all themes, 4 stops are reported as fully or partly step-free and 1 are marked family-friendly; each stop card shows its own status. Opening times change with the seasons, so check a stop's own website before you go.
