Official travel information
Brockenhurst, in the middle of the Forest, is on the main line from London Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth, and Lymington has ferries to the Isle of Wight. Times and fares change, so check the operators before you travel.

Exbury Gardens
Rothschild woodland garden of 200 acres with rhododendrons, azaleas and a steam railway; closed for winter except Christmas events.
Lepe Country Park
A mile of beach on the Solent at the mouth of the Beaulieu River, with Operation Overlord remains and a café.
Hatchet Pond
Forestry England calls it the New Forest's largest body of fresh water, and one of the UK's most important ponds for wildlife.
