Climate: Met Office 1991-2020 averages, stored Oct 25, 2026. Each station sits in or near the region, not necessarily in the town, so differences of a degree or two or small rainfall gaps can come from the station rather than the place. Daylight is calculated from latitude, not a Met Office figure. Station notes: Manchester: Woodford (Cheshire, south of the city) is the Met Office station page for the Manchester Airport area; no station page for the city center was found. Figures for central Manchester will differ. Glasgow: Paisley is about 6.8 miles (11 km) west of Glasgow city center and complete in the Met Office data. Glasgow Springburn (gcuvzy6wz, 1.9 miles (3 km) from the center) has no rain-day counts so was not used.
