National Rail does not list left luggage at Liverpool Lime Street, York, Newcastle, Sheffield, Crewe, Carlisle, Reading, Exeter St Davids, Bristol Temple Meads, Cardiff Central, Bath Spa, Oxford, Cambridge, Penzance, Oxenholme Lake District, Windermere, Weymouth.For Liverpool Lime Street it says: “Left Luggage storage at Liverpool Lime Street is unavailable until further notice.”1
At airports
The Excess Baggage Company runs staffed baggage storage at several airports and main stations. Its home page listed these airport hours on 1 Nov 2026:2

On the same day the company said its online booking was unavailable and that storage remained open on a walk-in basis, with payment when you collect, by cash or major credit card.2 Its price page said the pricing service was temporarily unavailable, so we cannot give a price.3
Conviene saber
- Units are staffed counters, not lockers, and bags are x-rayed; you may be asked to open a bag or take out electrical items.4
- Keep the receipt: the company says bags are released only against the original ticket, and it charges a £15.00 lost-ticket fee (as stated on 1 Nov 2026).4
- Saturdays and Sundays are its busiest days, so allow extra time to drop off and collect.4
- It may exclude liability for bags over 32 kg.4

Can I leave luggage at London King’s Cross or Euston?
National Rail’s station pages list left luggage at both, with hours shown for Monday to Friday (07:00 to 23:00 at each, as listed on 1 Nov 2026). Check the station page for weekend hours.
How much does left luggage cost?
We could not confirm prices. National Rail’s station pages list no prices, and the Excess Baggage Company’s price page said its pricing service was temporarily unavailable when we checked. Its FAQ says the cost depends on the number of bags and how long you leave them.
Are there luggage lockers at UK stations?
The Excess Baggage Company says all its units are staffed counters, not lockers, and that bags are security screened (x-ray) under the National Rail security programme.
