Is it operating?

The airport's information site (info.cardiff-airport.com) was read on 25 October 2026. It did not carry bus, train or assistance pages for us to quote.1

Into the city centre

  • Train. Wikipedia says the nearest station is Rhoose Cardiff International Airport on the Vale of Glamorgan Line, with an hourly Transport for Wales service to and from Cardiff Central and a bus transfer to the terminal. Check Transport for Wales for current times.2,3 Official page for Train (opens in new tab)
  • Bus. Wikipedia says the T9 Cardiff Airport Express has ceased to operate. We do not list a direct bus: check the airport and Traveline Cymru.2,4 Official page for Bus (opens in new tab)

For fares and city passes, see local transport. For live disruption, use the travel status links.
