Is it operating?

The airport's website refused automated access, so we have not read it. Wikipedia describes a working airport with an elevated link to Birmingham International railway station.1

Into the city centre

  • Train. Wikipedia says an elevated Air-Rail Link connects the airport to Birmingham International railway station on the West Coast Main Line. National Rail's page for the station says it is managed by Avanti West Coast, with step-free access to all platforms, lifts and tactile warnings on all platforms in use. Check National Rail for train times to Birmingham city centre.1,2 Official page for Train (opens in new tab)

Assistance and accessibility

We could not read the airport's assistance pages. Start at the airport website and look for its assistance information.3
