Markets in Wales at a glance

Our Wales calendar has 1 listing under markets: 1 that runs every week. For 1 of 1, we read the dates on the organiser's own page. Every listing links to its organiser, so check opening times and tickets there before you travel.

This is a short list so far. For more choice, see markets across the UK (20 listings) or everything on in Wales.

When they happen

1listing runs all year round.

What our Wales guide says about those seasons:

Spring (March to May)
A good time for coast paths and waterfalls. Some seasonal attractions, such as the Great Orme Tramway, start running again in late March.
Summer (June to August)
The busiest season for Yr Wyddfa and the Pembrokeshire beaches; the park authorities encourage using buses in the busy months, and island boat trips run.
Autumn (September to November)
A quieter time for hill walking and for the coast, with seasonal tramways and railways finishing for the year; check each operator.
Winter (December to February)
Cardiff and Swansea have indoor attractions, and mountain conditions can be serious; the Pembrokeshire coastal buses run two days a week.
