Welcome to the area

A wide High Street of stone houses below Broadway Tower

Broadway is a village in Worcestershire on the north-western edge of the Cotswolds. A wide High Street of honey-coloured stone houses runs from the village green past inns, galleries and tea rooms.

Above the village, Broadway Tower stands on Broadway Hill, the highest point in the northern Cotswolds at 312 metres. The Gordon Russell Design Museum and the Broadway Museum cover local design and history.

Insider tips

Before you go

1

No mainline station

Broadway has no National Rail service. The nearest stations are Evesham, Honeybourne and Moreton-in-Marsh, so plan a bus or taxi for the last leg.

2

Tower and village are a walk apart

Broadway Tower is about 65 feet high and stands on Broadway Hill above the village. Wear walking shoes, as the route climbs.

3

Check the car park rules

Broadway's council car parks are run by Wychavon District Council. Check its page for charges before you park.

4

Visit a museum for the design story

Sir Gordon Russell was a 20th-century furniture maker, and the Gordon Russell Design Museum celebrates his work.
